The Bacchae was a paper project for a Costume Design course at Boston University. The basic design concept was that the play is set in the shadow of a volcano, and that Dionysus is the god of that volcano. Dionysus unleashes their fiery power on the people of Thebes, sending their lives into destruction and chaos.
